RECRUITING: Florida DT has OU in top three

Deerfield Beach, Fla. defensive tackle Emmanuel Dunbar talks about his upcoming visit to Norman.

JH: How is your season going?

ED: "We are 8-1 on the year and we were runner-up in the district. We are currently ranked fifth in the state. We have our last game of the season this week and then we start the playoffs. We should have a very good opportunity in the playoffs."

JH: How about your season individually?

ED: "I think I am having a good season. I do not have the kind of stats that I had last season, because with all the publicity in the newspaper and on the internet everybody is gunning for me and it has been much harder to get it going this year. I am not sure what my stats are, but I do have 10 sacks on the year and I am averaging about eight tackles per game."

JH: So you are the center of attention for every offense you play?

ED: "Yes, I am getting double and triple teamed most of the time. It is frustrating, but it is something that I have to get used to. I think it does open some things up for the rest of our defense."

JH: Have you set any official visits at this time?

ED: "I set my official visit will be to Boston College on Friday. I have also set a visit with Oklahoma on December 12th, but I have had to change it to the November 28th because our banquet is set for the 12th and we have a lot of things going on that weekend."

JH: How would you say recruiting is going?

ED: It is going fine. I am looking at location, coaching staff and I want a school where I really like the players. I also will look closely at the area where he school is located, because I want to see how I fit in."

JH: How do you like Oklahoma at this time?

ED: "I like Oklahoma, most definitely, in the top three. I would say that Boston College and Florida State are also in the top three. I like the winning tradition. They don't have losing seasons at OU and I like the stability of their coaching staff. At Oklahoma they are not changing over their coaching staffs and that makes for a winning football team."
