Recruiting: Carrollton WR not ready to commit

Carrollton (Creekside) receiver Travis Wilson talks about his visit to Texas A&M

JH: How did you enjoy your visit to Texas A&M?

TW: I liked it and enjoyed hanging out with the coaches and players. Everything at College Station is first class and I would have a great opportunity there. So, I am going to enjoy my senior year a little bit more and see how things develop.

JH: You told me last week that you might commit to Oklahoma after your visit to Texas A&M. What are your thoughts now?

TW: That was my mom's first time to see A&M and that has pushed back my decision a little bit. It's up to me where I go, but I want my mom's blessing. I want to take here to Oklahoma and let her see the college herself and see if she has as good a feeling about the school as I do. The decision is up to me and my parents have told me that. I like everything about Oklahoma and I feel real good about Oklahoma. I just want them to feel real good about it as well.

JH: Is Oklahoma still you favorite school?

TW: Oklahoma is still a leader over A&M. I just need to get my parents to Norman so they can see the University for themselves and we should be able to do that at the Baylor game.

JH: Did you watch the OU-Texas game?

TW: It was an awesome game. I know the atmosphere and I think the Texas/Oklahoma game ranks right up there with the Florida/Florida State game. I think OU was the better team and the thing about Oklahoma is that they are still a very young time. One of things that make's me like Oklahoma is that there isn't just one receiver that is a dominating player. All the receivers share in the offense and all are used. All of their receivers get their opportunities. I could see myself playing for Oklahoma in this game."

JH: How is your season going thus far?

TW: Thus far I have 17 catches for 480 yards and six touchdowns. I am playing cornerback on defense and have one interception thus far this year."
