RECRUITING: OU's top CB prospect returns from FSU

Do the Seminoles now lead for Waco CB Marcus Walker after his visit to Tallahassee last weekend?

JH: How did your visit to Florida State go?

MW: "It went real good. I had a real good time and I liked everything about the visit. I certainly liked very thing about my position and everything about their defensive backs."

JH: What is it about their secondary or how they play their cornerbacks that impresses you?

MW: "Coach Andrew runs his secondary much like we do at Waco High. They go from being a man to a zone team and that is the style of defense that I want to play in. Plus, Florida State has been my favorite school since I was little, and that has something to do with why I like them as well."

JH: Now that you have been to Florida State how much do you anticipate the Seminoles will be a part of your final decision?

MW: "They are going to be a big part of my decision, I can tell you that. I am going to take my visits and just see how things turn out, but Florida State is going to be right in there as far as my decision goes."

JH: After one visit to another school how do you still feel about Oklahoma?

MW: "Oklahoma is still very high on my list and that hasn't changed. I am going to try not to go up and down each week, and that is why I want to take all my visits to see how things play out. Oklahoma is still right there at the top of my list and they are going to be very much in the running for me."

JH: What is your remaining visit schedule?

MW: "I go to Arkansas on Saturday and then to LSU on December 5th. I go to OU on December 12th and I go to Texas A&M on January 16th.

JH: How did you finish the season?

MW: "I finished with 30 tackles and 2 forced fumbles. I just don't get a whole lot of passes thrown my way, so my stats aren't anything really. We finished 6-4 on the year and that knocked us out of the playoffs because we lost three games in district."
