RECRUITING: Wisconsin DE knows where he's going

Wisconsin DE Rhyan Anderson says he'll visit the Sooners in December. But did he reveal his leader?

RHYAN ANDERSON, DE, 6-6, 265, 4.6, OAK CREEK, WISCONSIN (OAK CREEK HS):

JH: I understand you were named the defensive player of the year in Wisconsin, is that right?

RA: "Yeah, I won something like that. That is a great award and I am proud of it."

JH: Are you playing basketball?

RA: "I am just lifting weights right now. It is going pretty good so far. I have lifted five times and things are going well."

JH: How is recruiting going?

RA: "It is alright. It is getting on my nerves a little bit, but I am handling it. A coach from Ohio State, Miami and Colorado came to my school and the coach from Ohio State and Miami came for a home visit."

JH: What is your visit schedule the rest of the way?

RA: "I already went to Florida and am going to Ohio State this week and USC the week after, and then Oklahoma (12-19).

JH: Do you have a leader?

RA: "I don't have a leader and I won't have won until February."

JH: Some people believe that you already know where you are going, is that the case?

RA: "I kind of know where I want to go, but I really want to keep that to myself. I want to take my visits with an open mind."
