RECRUITING: UT verbal's eyes on Oklahoma?

Shreveport, Louisiana fullback Jacob Hester says he's looking around despite verbal to Texas. Could the Sooners get a visit?

JACOB HESTER, FB, 6-0, 240, 4.6, SHERVEPORT, LOUISIANA (EVANGEL CHRISTIAN HS):

OUIN: How is your season going?

JH: "We finished 10-3 on the year and we are going to the state championship this weekend. We will play Hahnville, who is undefeated this year. I think we are the better team, but we will see."

OUIN: How are things going individually?

JH: "I was playing running back through the first half of the season and then I banged up my shoulder, so they moved me to receiver. Whatever is best for the team is great with me, but it was a little strange to play out there. I couldn't hit anybody for five yards or so, but I got a chance to play linebacker as well."

OUIN: Are you still committed to Texas at this time?

JH: "Yes, sir, but I am not real sure what I am going to do. I kind of committed early and I didn't look at all my options. I just want to see what else is out there."

OUIN: So, you are going to take other visits?

JH: "I am going to LSU this weekend and then to Miami the following weekend."

OUIN: Do you any kind of interest in Oklahoma?

JH: "Yeah, I like Oklahoma, LSU and Miami and I know that OU is looking for another fullback. I definitely want to look at Oklahoma and I might visit them. I want to talk to Oklahoma and see what they have to say."
