ALAN DAVIS, DE, 6-2, 240, 4.85, COLLEYVILLE, TEXAS (COLLEYVILLE HERITAGE HS):
JH: You were already committed to OU on your visit, so are you still committed to OU?
AD: "I am still committed coming out of the visit and I am going to stay with my decision. I am a man of my word."
JH: What did you like about the visit?
AD: "I just got a chance to hang out with a lot of players and the recruits. I wanted to make sure that I fit in with those guys and I found out that I do. That is important to me and after talking with Pierre Brown, Adrian Peterson, Herman Johnson, Rhett Bomar, J.D. Quinn and Cameron Schacht. They were all great guys and I can easily fit in with all of them. Some of those have already committed, but I have a real good feeling that Pierre is really close. I also feel that Adrian and Herman are very close as well."
JH: Since you already knew quite a bit about the visit, did you pick up anything else that you wanted to know?
AD: "I went to the school trying to learn something new about the school. This was my official visit, so I just got a better understanding of what OU is all about. The most important thing for me was to just hang out with the players and get to know them better, and to get a feeling of what they feel about Oklahoma."
JH: Did you get a chance to talk to OU's defensive end coach Bobby Jack Wright?
AD: "I talked to Coach Wright quite a bit. I went to most of their practice Friday and Saturday and watched all their drills and then talked to him about how I can ready for those drills in the summer. Before I left I had a great conversation with him."
JH: Did you get a chance to watch Jason White win the Heisman Trophy?
AD: "We went to a watch party and it was great to watch with the team. I am so happy for Jason and I can't wait to get to know him better."
