Jabahri Brown has been dominant in practice. The Sooners have never had a 6'10 shot blocker like Brown. Ryan Humphrey was a great shot blocker, but was only 6'7. Stacey King was a fair shot blocker, but his main ability was to score.
Brown loves to play defense and he has proven to be tough to score against. He is picking up offensive skills all the time and by the time he is a senior Brown will be an NBA talent.
Junior college transfer Quannas White has also looked great at camp. Sooner Head Coach Kelvin Sampson has a small delimma on his hands and White may be forcing his hand.
Coach Sampson would love to start Hollis Price at the point and start JUCO transfers Ebi Ere and Jason Detrick at the wings. However, White is looking so good that Price may have to start at a wing and Ere would have to come off the bench. Ere doesn't want to come off the bench, but he may not have any choice.
In the OU women's basketball camp true freshman Dionnah Jackson has been fantastic and will play this year. Jackson is the next super star on the Sooner squad.
Stacey Dales is the current superstar on the roster and she has improved her game. Dales is shooting the ball better than ever and that was her main weakness coming into the season. Dales was a streaky shooter before, but appears to be much more consistent this season.
Brown, Dales impressive in early hoops workouts
