Recruiting: Decision could come soon from Wilson

Talented Texas receiver Travis Wilson talks about his visit to Norman

TRAVIS WILSON, WR, 6-3, 202, CREEKVIEW, TEXAS:

JH: I understand you went to the OU-Baylor game this weekend, is that right?

TW: It was a pretty good experience for me. It was an exciting place to play football. I liked how OU's offense moved the ball and how the wide receivers caught a lot of passes. I liked the OU offense and feel they take advantage of players who can make plays for them.

JH: Did you commit to OU this weekend?

TW: Coach (Cale) Gundy told me he would call me back on Monday after I had an opportunity to talk things over with my mother. My mom came with me on the trip and she had a chance to talk to all the academic people. Mom was impressed with the chances that I would have at OU and what I can accomplish at Oklahoma.

JH: Do you think you are going to commit to OU?

TW: I think there is a pretty good chance I am going to commit to OU. I think I will fit into their offense very well the way they pass the ball. They are losing Josh Norman, who is a big receiver like I am.

JH: How did you play this past Friday?

TW: I had a good game Friday night catching two passes for 85 yards.
