SAN ANTONIO—Phoenix, Arizona tight end Zach Miller talks about his top three schools, his commitment status and the Sugar Bowl during an exclusive OUInsider.com interview on the eve of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Game.
OUInsider.com: What schools are you still considering?
Miller: "Miami, Oklahoma and Arizona State."
OUInsider.com: Are those schools in any particular order?
Miller: "Not really right now. They're all pretty even."
OUInsider: What intrigues you most about Oklahoma?
Miller: "I like their tight end situation, because I'd have a good opportunity to play early. I really like the coaches too. Coach Stoops, Coach Long and Coach Sumlin are very good coaches. I think they'd help me a lot."
OUInsider.com: When do you plan on making your commitment?
Miller: "Late January. I want to get it (my decision) done before Signing Day, because I don't want to leave coaches waiting till the last minute."
OUInsider.com: Do you have any idea where you want to attend school?
Miller: "I really don't. I'm still up in the air right now. My visits made my decision tougher, because there's such great opportunity at all three schools."
OUInsider.com: What did you enjoy most during your visit to Oklahoma last month?
Miller: "The team and how they practiced. It was a lot of fun."
OUInsider.com: What Oklahoma players did you spend the most with during your visit?
Miller: "My host, Lance Donley, Teddy Lehman and Jason White. They're all great guys."
OUInsider.com: Overall, what is your opinion of Oklahoma?
Miller: "They have a great program. Their coaches and facilities are top notch. They really take care of you."
OUInsider.com: Any words for OUInsider.com's members?
Miller: "They should definitely keep their eye on me."
OUInsider.com: Last question, who is going to win the Sugar Bowl?
Miller: "Oklahoma, because they're going to get after them (LSU) after losing to Kansas State. They'll win by two touchdowns."
