RECRUITING: LSU a contender for Walker?

Waco, Texas cornerback Marcus Walker says he's down to one OU and FSU, but he'll take one more visit.

JH: What did you think about playing in the Army All-Star game?

MW: "It was nice. There was some good competition down there and that was good. Playing against those guys reassured me that I could play against the best in the country, and play well. That also showed me that I will be able to play well in college and it boost my confidence a little bit."

JH: Are you going to visit LSU now?

MW: "Yes. The fact they won the national title has a little to do with it, but more importantly my grandmother wants me to take all my visits. I live with my grandmother, and she knows best, so I am going to visit LSU next weekend."

JH: Who did you hang with at the all-star game?

MW: "I hung around with Adrian Peterson, Cameron Colvin and Early Doucet. I covered Cameron and Early in practice, but Early pulled his hamstring early in the week and had to shut it done. I went against Cameron a lot and it was a great battle."

JH: How is recruiting shaping up?

MW: "It is going pretty good. I have my decision down to OU and Florida State. However, I am going to visit LSU so I will see how things are going there."

JH: What is it about Florida State and OU?

MW: "I grew up a Florida State fan, but OU has been strong with me throughout this entire recruiting process."

JH: How does Oklahoma stand with you right now?

MW: "Oklahoma stands very well with me right now. I know they graduate one corner, and if I work very hard I can go in there and earn some playing time early."
