Recruiting: Houston OL has over 30 offers

Update on Houston offensive tackle Tony Ugoh

TONY UGOH, OL, HOUSTON WESTFIELD, TEXAS:

JH: How is your season going?
TU: We are 6-1 on the year and 4-0 in the district and currently in first place. I am playing pretty good. I don't keep up with my stats or pancake blocks or anything. I have been doing pretty good, getting all my blocks and things, picking up linebackers and stuff. Basically, I have been picking up all my blocks and taking care of my business.

JH: Where at along the offensive line are you being recruited?
TU: More schools are recruiting me as an offensive tackle. I have played tackle all my life and that is really where I am best suited.

JH: How many total schools are recruiting you?
TU: Right now I still have 37 to 38 schools who have offered me. I am just trying to get our season over before I start looking at all these colleges. I am still interested in everybody, because I still have a lot of schools that are showing an interest in me. I am trying to look at all the academic situations so that I can make a good decision.

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?
TU: I still have an interest in Oklahoma and they are still calling me. I went to their camp and performed well. There is no truth to the rumor that I am leaning to Miami, heck I haven't even been offered by Miami. Now, I have been offered by Florida and Florida State.
