RECRUITING: Wisonsin DE says OU among final two

Wisconsin defensive end Rhyan Anderson talks about his favorites and his interest in Oklahoma.

Rhyan Anderson, DE, 6-5, 265, 4.7, Oak Creek, Wisconsin:

JH: Talk about the big time coaches in your home recently?

RA: "I had Coach (Pete) Carroll, coach Kiffin and Coach 'O', the D-line coach (from USC). Coach (Jim) Tressell from Ohio State and his d-line coach - Coach Fickle - also have been in the house recently."

JH: Who is coming into your home this week?

RA: "Coach (Bobby Jack) Wright will be here tomorrow and Coach Fickle of Ohio State will also be here tomorrow. Miami will be here on Wednesday."

JH: Are you ready to announce a leader?

RA: "I have a leader in mind, but I don't really want to say it. I really know who it is and I know people think that I am crazy, but I just don't want to say right now."

JH: Would you say that Oklahoma is at least at the top of your list?

RA: "Yeah, definitely they are. OU has always been up at the top with me so people should be able to figure out how I feel about OU. I liked OU a great deal."

JH: Is it safe to say that it will be OU and one of other school among your final decision?

RA: "OU will be among my top choices at the end. Oklahoma has been the one team that has been the constant school in my choice."

JH: Who are the other main contenders right now?

RA: "I would say it is probably Ohio State and Miami."

JH: When I talked to you about Miami you seemed disappointed in your visit, but I notched you are talking about them again?

RA: "I wasn't disappointed, but I was expecting more from them. I guess you could say that they are back in it."

JH: Do you still plan to announce your decision on signing day, and how do you plan to do it?

RA: "Yeah, but I don't know how I am going to announce."

JH: Where does your mom want you to go?

RA: "She just tells me to go where I feel the most comfortable, and for me to take my time and look at everybody equally. She is going to support me no matter what. Her favorite, by the way that people have treated me, would be Oklahoma and Ohio State."

JH: Could Oklahoma get an edge in the long run, because you used to live in Norman?

RA: "I have talked about it many times before, but I one of the big reasons why I like Oklahoma is because I am comfortable at Oklahoma. I already have friends there and I know the area. I know quite a bit about Oklahoma and there is no mystery to it."
