RECRUITING: Sooners offer speedy Texas junior

Pflugerville, Texas athlete Todd Walker talks about getting an offer from Bob Stoops and Oklahoma.

TODD WALKER, CB/ATH, 6'1, 174, 4.3, Pflugerville, Texas:

Dean: What does that mean to you? To grab an official offer from the Sooners?

Walker: I'm really excited. Speechless, I guess. Just really excited about it. Don't have the right words to describe what it means.

Folks, based on his reaction, it meant an awful lot to him. Enough, that you can now say OU is a major player for Todd's sig...

His current top seven, listed alphabetically: Arkansas, Florida, Houston, Oklahoma, Purdue, Texas and Texas A&M.

Only Arkansas, Florida and Texas have yet to tender the ultra-athletic prep a 'ship, but most expect all in fact will do just that, and soon.
