Recruiting: Dallas LB setting visits

Sooner fans should hope Dallas Kimbell LB Flood listen's to his fathers advice

JH: Your coach says you have improved your speed this year, is that true?

KF: I have improved my speed over the past year and I have actually been clocked at 4.41 in practice. I will run the top 400 in track this upcoming season and I am looking forward to that.

JH: How is your season going?

KF: We are 6-3 on the year and we qualified for the playoffs and are district champs. I feel pretty good about our situation and feel we are going to do well in the playoffs. I am not sure about my tackles, but I have around 17 sacks on the year. I am working at defensive end and that is why I am getting a shot at so many sacks. I am being recruited as a will linebacker, which will be a lot better for me, because I will get a chance to stand up and come straight down hill.

JH: Have you set any visits yet?

KF: I have set visits with Texas A&M (12-7), Georgia Tech (12-15) and Maryland (12-7). The last two are going to go to West Virginia and Florida. I am going to Oklahoma unofficially this weekend. I would like to visit OU officially, but I need to talk to Coach Shipp about getting me up there. If I visit OU I would probably drop West Virginia since I have already been there. My dad is really trying to get me to lean toward OU. He is from Oklahoma and he really likes the Sooners.

JH: Do you have a favorite right now?

KF: I really don't have a favorite right now. I am looking at a lot of schools and I like all of them really. All of the schools mentioned are very much in the hunt. I don't mind leaving home and I am just going to try to find the very best schools for me.
