Recruiting: Forny, Texas speedster likes OU

Forny, Texas receiver DaBryan Blanton plans to visit Norman before making his decision

DaBRYAN BLANTON, 5'11, 170, 4.3, FORNY, TEXAS:

JH: How is your season going right now?

DB: We are 9-0 right now and ranked number one in the state. We have had a great season thus far and we feel we can win a state title if we just take care of our business. I need just 178 yards to go over 2,000 for the season and I have scored 19 touchdowns on the year. I don't really get a chance to catch the ball much and I am not playing on defense.

JH: You won the 100 meters and the 200 meters in track, do you still consider yourself a football or a track guy?

DB: I feel football is my best sport. I don't know which sport I like best, but I guess you could say that I like football better. I am a football player first and a track man second. I sometimes feel that I have an advantage when I am on the field because of my speed.

JH: What position are teams recruiting you at?

DB: Most colleges are recruiting me as a wide receiver.

JH: What schools do you like now?

DB: I like Tennessee (1-12), Texas A&M (1-22), OU, LSU, Miami (12-8) and Wisconsin. I have already taken a visit to Texas Tech. I don't know which school will be my final visit. OU is pretty high on my list I will definitely go to Norman before I make my decision. I don't know if I will take an official visit or not, but I will look at Norman. Right now I really don't have a favorite.
