#3 Oklahoma (23-8, 9-7) vs. #14 Marist (20-10, 13-5)

Wells Fargo Arena (14,141) Tempe, Ariz. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. CST and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.

Both Oklahoma and Marist come into Saturday's first round NCAA matchup on the heals of four-game winning streaks. Oklahoma earned an automatic berth via their Big 12 conference Tournament championship last weekend in Dallas, while Marist won both the MAAC (Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) regular season and conference tournament title two weeks ago to get their automatic berth.

OU head coach Sherri Coale, whose Sooners are a three seed for the first time in her tenure at OU, will coach her 250th game against Marist. Saturday also marks the first-ever meeting between the two schools and first-ever trip to the NCAAs for the Red Foxes. The Sooners are 11-6 in NCAA tournament games. Marist is located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

The winner of Saturday's matchup will advance to the second round to face the Stanford-Missouri winner on Monday.
