RECRUITING: Texas WR coming to Red/White game?

The Lonestar State's top receiver — Malcolm Kelly — names three early leaders and talks about his summer plans.

Malcolm Kelly, WR, 6-4, 203, 4.5, LONGVIEW, TEXAS:

JH: Have you made any further decisions on if you'll go to any camps this summer?

MK: "I am basically just going to stay at my house and not go to any camps this summer. I am going to do all my training right here."

JH: Are you going to any spring games?

MK: "I am going to the UT spring this weekend and I am going to watch the Texas Relays there as well. My brother stays in Austin and use to go to UT (Chris Butcher), and I am going to hang out with him this weekend.

JH: Have you decided to go and watch and OU practice at this point?

MK: "I know they have their coaching clinic this weekend, so I am coming up on the 17th for their Red/White game. I have called Coach Wyatt and talked him. He is real cool and from Athens, Texas, which is only an hour from here. He said that he recruited my brother."

JH: How is recruiting shaping up for you at this point?

MK: "Right now my top three would be OU, LSU and Tennessee."

JH: What are you looking for in recruiting?

MK: "I want a school that is close to home and has a good football program. I need a good academic support program and a program that is good for one-on-one academic work. I want a school that cares about you academically and that is why I was so impressed with LSU about. I also love a school like OU that really throws the ball a lot."
