We all know that Eric Huggins of Conway, S.C. is a great player and the best player in South Carolina. Huggins is a soft commitment to OU and soon will make his commitment solid.
And the Sooners already have a verbal commitment from safety Allan Patrick from Independance C.C. in Kansas, who also hails from Conway.
The third great player from Conway is DT Hivera Green. Green came up and watched the Sooners for a couple of practices this spring. OU has not offered Green at this time, but that could change soon. Green is receiving offers from some of the top programs in the country, and the Sooners will be in Conway next week to take a closer look.
Thus far Green has received offers from Clemson, Auburn, Michigan, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, Tennessee, South Carolina, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Florida, Nebraska, Florida State, North Carolina and North Carolina State. FSU, North Carolina and NC State all have offered over the last two days.
Those are some very good football programs that are offering Green, which indicates the type of talent he is. This still doesn't mean that OU will offer him, but the odds are that OU will see what some of those other top programs are seeing and eventually offer the DT prospect.
