Recruiting: Mosely getting big-time looks

Have the Sooners offered this talented running back from Anderson, Texas?

Mosely is exploding lately on the recruiting scene as more and more teams notice his outstanding ability. A big, physical player, Mosley is being recruited as a running back, but many coaches like him as a linebacker or defensive end.

Mosely is a 2-year starter at tailback and as a kick returner. Mosely rushed for 1,834 and 28 touchdowns. This year Mosely has 2,303 yards on the season as Anderson finished with a 5-3 record. The games Anderson lost were very close, losing two in overtime. Mosely can bench 315 pounds, squats 435 and he has a 31 inch vertical jump.

Mosely attended the Nike camp in College Station and the Texas, Texas A&M and Nebraska summer camps. Mosley also starts in hoops and in track (100M/10.6, 200M, sprint relay, triple jump and broad jump).

JH: How is recruiting going with you?

PM: So far TCU, Baylor and Arizona have offered. I am still pretty open to a lot of schools who are talking to me. I like Oklahoma, Texas, Houston, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Kansas State, Alabama and Michigan. All of those schools are still writing and I have talked to Oklahoma, Nebraska and Houston on the phone.

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

PM: I am pretty interested in Oklahoma, but they are one of the schools that wants me as a linebacker or defensive end. However, I really like them a lot, but I have to decide do I really want to change positions or not. I want to play tailback, but maybe playing another position is what I should do in college. I just don't know a this time.

JH: Do you have a favorite right now?

PM: I really don't have a favorite, but right now my top two are Nebraska and TCU. Nebraska seems like they are close to offering me as a tailback.

JH: Have you set any visits with any schools yet?

PM: I have a visit set with TCU (12-14) and I am talking to Nebraska, Baylor and Houston about setting visits with them.
