RECRUITING: Texas gaining on OU for Texas DT?

Roy Miller said OU was his leader last week. Are things different now after a trip to Texas?

Roy Miller, DT, 6-2, 297, 4.97, Killeen, Texas (Shoemaker High School):

JH: How did your trip to the Texas camp go this weekend?

RM: "Texas was pretty good to me at the camp, but OU is still my favorite school. I still think that is where I am going to go. The Texas coaches were very good to me, but OU is still my school. I think I am going to wait a week before I make my commitment. That way I can give Texas a fair look and really think things through. Next week I will get back to you and see how I feel."

JH: Did your workout at Texas turn your head at all?

RM: "I wouldn't say they turned my head. When I was looking at this whole thing, I was thinking Wednesday might be a good day to announce but that was just a bold statement on my point. Texas has been good to me and I just don't want to return home form the camp and then immediately commit to OU. I want to be cool with the Texas coaches and I just don't think it would be fair to come right out of their camp and then immediately commit to OU. My commitment to OU may come at the end of this week, but more than likely early next week."

JH: Do you still feel that you are going to commit to OU?

RM: "Yes, sir. At the end I want to make my decision and then feel great about it. I have always had a question about Texas, and now I have that question solved. It was great to get the offer from them, but I am still going to be a Sooner next week. I am going to sleep on it a couple of days and then get back to you next week."
