Oklahoma 2004 football signee Chris Patterson told OUInsider.com on Wednesday night that he expects his qualifying status to be resolved next week and that it is "looking great."
When asked to elaborate further, Patterson said "everything is going good, it's all right."
However, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker did not deny or confirm rumors that he will not qualify and instead attend Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.
"I don't know," said Patterson. "Just wait and see."
Nonetheless, Patterson said he has been busy this summer.
"I've been working out, " he said. "And doing a little running."
He also had a message for Sooner fans.
"Just tell everybody no matter what happens I'm still going to OU," said Patterson.
