Cory Zirbel, OL, 6-6, 301, 5.1, Murray, Kentucky:
JH: Earlier this summer you said that you might visit Oklahoma sometime this summer. Is that still going to be the case?
CZ: I am coming out to Oklahoma this Friday actually. I have wanted to visit for a long time and I have been waiting on an offer from them. I am taking the visit on good faith because they havent offered yet, but I am hoping they offer me when they get a chance to see me in person. OU likes to wait to offer offensive linemen until they get a chance to see them in person, and I am going to give them that opportunity on Friday.
JH: What camps have you been to this summer and what programs have you visited?
CZ: I went to the Miami, Michigan and Ohio State camp. Then I visited Wisconsin and Minnesota.
JH: Do you have a top five at this time?
CZ: I do have a top five, but it is not in any particular order. It is Michigan, Miami, Ohio State, Florida and Oklahoma. I have a great interest in Oklahoma, especially with their great tradition and the fact they are winning so much lately.
"I want to go to a school that is winning and OU is one of the best programs in the country. I have always had a genuine interest in OU and I look forward to seeing them on Friday."
JH: Do you have a leader?
CZ: Michigan is my favorite, but they are not locked into a No. 1 choice right now. I haven't been to Oklahoma yet, and I would like to get to Arkansas and to Iowa if possible. That would be all the places that I want to see, and from there I would be able to make a decision.
JH: How have your summer workouts gone this summer?
CZ: I have actually gained eight pounds and dropped my body fate three percent. I weigh 307 pounds right now and I clocked my fastest forty time ever at 5.13. I think I have had a pretty good summer.
JH: Have you started practice yet, and which side of the line of scrimmage will you play this season?
CZ: We started two-a-days this week. I will be playing strong-side offensive tackle all season.
