Terrel Nemons, DT, 6-3, 305, 5.35, CEDAR HLL, TEXAS:
JH: How did your unofficial visits go this week?
TM: "I went to OSU (Friday) yesterday and OU the day before. At OU, my visit went great. I went up there and Coach (Brent) Venables, Coach (Bob) Stoops and Coach (Jackie) Shipp showed me around. I got to talk to coach Stoops and he was great to talk to. He showed me all his rings and watch that he has earned since he has been at Oklahoma. Then Coach Shipp was a lot of fun to talk to about all his experiences in football. And then Coach Venables showed us all around the facilities and all around campus. OU's locker room was the biggest I have ever seen. Then they had a make-shift locker made up for me with a jersey with my name on it and a bunch of stuff showing how I would be going to a bowl game a stuff like that. It was really nice."
JH: How did your visit to OSU go?
TM: "That went good as well. OSU campus was a lot bigger. OU's is not as big or spread out as people think. OSU was talking about how good their academic program is and they say they graduate a great deal of their people. They are re-doing the whole stadium and they are going to build some suites with restaurants and other things in there."
JH: How are your summer workouts going?
TM: "They have been going well. I have been working out trying to get into great shape for the season. I want to have a great year this year, get into the playoffs and try to win a state title. Right now I weigh 310 and I feel I have improved my speed the this summer. Mostly, I have been working on my speed and agility more."
JH: Do you have a leader at this point?
TM: "I would say that I like OU, Texas, OSU, Kansas and LSU right now. I really don't have a clear favorite yet, but those five schools are the schools that I like."
