Oghobaase: "I have a very good feeling about OU"

Alief, Texas defensive tackle Vince Oghobaase talks about his busy summer and updates his list of schools. Oghobaase is rated as the top defensive tackle prospect and second-best overall player in the Lone Star State by the Inside Texas Hot 100.

Vince Oghobaase, DT, 6-5, 300, 5.2, ALIEF (HASTINGS HS), TEXAS:

JH: With your practice getting underway next week, how has your summer been?

VO: "I have been taking quite a few unofficial visits this summer, and that has been fun. I think I have been receiving a lot more mail this summer, but I have been receiving mail for a long time. The reporters call here and there, but it hasn't been too hectic. Everything has been going OK this summer."

JH: Who have you visited unofficially at this point?

VO: "I have been to LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Miami, Duke, Stanford, UCLA, and I am going to North Carolina and Florida. All the visits have been real, real good. The visits have been what everybody said they would be and more. I have not had a bad visit yet, and seeing all the schools on visits makes it harder to make a choice where to go to school."

JH: Have you decided who you want to visit officially at this time?

VO: "No I haven't narrowed it down yet. I think these are going to be my last two visits and then my family and I will sit down and try to get my choices down to seven or eight schools. We need to do that pretty soon."

JH: What are you thoughts on Oklahoma?

VO: "I had a great visit at Oklahoma and I have a very good feeling about OU. The coaches are great and the players are real cool. I like the fact the campus is very close to the football facilities and the campus is close together. It is a cozy campus. I like their defensive scheme for their defensive tackles. Coach (Jackie) Shipp showed me how they use the defensive tackles up the field and that is the way I want to play."

JH: Do you think you will visit OU officially?

VO: "I don't want to say I will visit anybody official right now. I want to take these final two visits and then sit down and make some decisions."
