Jonathan Hannah, TE/DE, HOPE MILLS (SOUTH VIEW HS), NORTH CAROLINA:
OUInsider: I know you were busy this summer, so can you tell us about all the things that you have been doing?
JH: "I went to several schools and tried to get some work in. You never get as much work in as you want. I went to the schools that I really had an interest in, and in the process I have been trying to prepare for my senior season."
OUInsider: "What schools did you visit?
JH: "I went Penn State, Clemson, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, N.C. State and North Carolina."
OUInsider: I understand you have set your visits, is that true?
JH: "I have set visits with Georgia, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Penn State and Clemson. Those are the five schools that I am going to visit, but I am also still going to consider Florida State, Miami, Memphis State and North Carolina."
OUInsider: Do you have a leader at this point?
JH: "Not really, but things have been going up and down throughout the recruiting process this summer. I guess you could say I am back to my open stage at this point in the summer."
OUInsider: What kind of chance does OU have to really sign you?
JH: "I would say Oklahoma is very much in the hunt. They are a school that you have to definitely take into consideration when you consider that they are Oklahoma, and they are one of the great teams in the country. I would say that I am considering them as much as I am considering any other team."
OUInsider: What position do you feel you will play in college?
JH: "Different schools say different things. Some say defensive end and some say tight end. Florida State has said everything from offensive guard to defensive tackle. I don't care where I play. I will sit down with my coach and talk about where I can best help the team. I would prefer tight end or defensive end, but again I will play anywhere the team needs me."
