The OU Men's Basketball team has earned a verbal commitment from the top junior college shooting wing in the country. Michael Neal , a 6-foot-5 guard from Lon Morris Junior College, gave a verbal committment to the Sooners on a recent visit. Neal earned second team JUCO All-American honors last year.
The Sooners are also very close to earning a verbal commitment from 6-foot-7 Taylor Griffin from Oklahoma Christian Academy in Edmond. Griffin, a pure face-up power forward, and Putnam City guard C.J. Henry are regarded as the top seniors in Oklahoma this year.
The Sooners are also very much in the hunt for 6-foot-5 Chris Douglas-Roberts out Cass Technical High School in Detroit, and they have set a visit with Seattle, Wash. five star wing Martell Webster, who is regarded as one of the top five players in the country.
