RECRUITING: Parham says visit was "great&quo

But did the Sooners make enough of an impression to get in the Virginia linebackers top three?

JH: How was your visit to Norman?

KP: It was fine and I certainly enjoyed myself. I liked the people in and out of the program and I liked the players. I got to meet some people within the program when I took an unofficial during the Thanksgiving holiday, but I didn't get to spend a lot of time with them like I did this past weekend.

The football program is great and there is not to many bad points about it. I am really impressed with the players that are returning next year and the opportunity that I would have to play. Their defense is basically designed to keep me free and help me run to the ball, and that is what I am looking for.

JH: How did your season end up?

KP: We went 5-5 and I don't know my statistics, however I was named the Gatorade Player of the Year.

JH: Do you have a leader at this point?

KP: I really don't know, that is something that I will have to pray about. I am still considering Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. I am trying to decide whether to put Oklahoma among that list or not. I like Oklahoma, but I really need to think things over to see if I can really consider them.

JH: Where will you take your next visit?

KP:My next visit is to Tennessee on January 11th. Then I go to Virginia the following weekend.
