Oklahoma safety Roy Williams and linebacker Rocky Calmus were named first-team All-Americans by the Associated Press Tuesday.
Calmus joins Miami safety Ed Reed and Maryland linebacker Ed Henderson on the team for the second consecutive year. Williams, who won the Jim Thorpe and Bronko Nagurski Awards is making his first appearance as an AP All-American.
The SEC was the top conference reprensented on the All-American team with eight players, followed by the Big 12 with seven, the ACC and Big Eas with three apiece, the Big 10 and Pac 10 with two each and the Mountain West conference with one.
Senior offensive lineman Frank Romero and senior punter Jeff Ferguson were both third-team selections.
