RECRUITING: Sooners get first shot at Clay

Antonio Clay, DE/OLB, 6-1, 207, 4.6, JEFFERSONVILLE (TWIGGS COUNTY HS), GEORGIA:

JH: How is your season going?


AC: "We have played three and we are 2-1 on the year. We lost to Hawkinsville High 21-7. I have 28 tackles, four forced fumbles, eight tackles for loss and two sacks at outside linebacker."

JH: Are you looking forward to your visit to OU this weekend?

AC: "Yes, sir I am. That is where I have been trying to get out to for close to a year. I have been waiting to see Oklahoma for some time. It is going to be interesting to finally see the Sooners."

JH: What are you looking for this weekend?

AC: "I want to see the depth chart, the atmosphere and how the coaches coach on the sideline. I want to see what the town is like on a game day and what the stadium is like. Then I want to see what their college is like. am looking forward to meeting their coaching staff and getting to know some of the players."

JH: Do you still have Miami and Oklahoma at the top of your list?

AC: "You can say that it is still Miami and Oklahoma. I have other schools that are still interested in me like Georgia, LSU and Maryland."

JH: Do you have a favorite between Oklahoma and Miami?

AC: "It is very even with Oklahoma and Miami."

JH: I know that you grew up a Miami fan, but you also have relatives that grew up as Oklahoma fans as well didn't you?

AC: "I have relatives that are from Oklahoma, so I have ties to both schools. It is going to come down to what school that I feel the most comfortable at."
