Larry Birdine made it official.
Two weeks after committing to Oklahoman one week removed from a visit to Stillwater, the six-foot-four 230-pound defensive end from Lawton is back in the fold for Oklahoma.
"I am now solid to Oklahoma," said Birdine upon returning home Sunday after visiting Norman this weekend. "I was only a soft commitment because I was taking other visits."
"It was alright," commented Birdine on his visit to Norman. "We couldn't do much because it was Christmas break, but I liked OU's facilities."
Birdine, who visited OSU last week and is the brother of former OSU linebacker Jason Gilden, says he is glad his recruitment is now officially over.
Birdine was hosted on his visit by another Lawton product and cousin Jammal Brown.
