RECRUITING: OU still in DeSoto corner's top three?

DeSoto, Texas cornerback prospect Brian Jackson update.

Brian Jackson, CB, 6-1, 210, 4.5, DeSOTO, TEXAS:

JH: How is your season going?

BJ: "We are doing real well. We are 3-0 and we have won two fairly close games thus far."

JH: Are you playing on both sides of the ball?

BJ: "I am playing cornerback, wide receiver and backup quarterback. My season is going real well. I have nine tackles and one interception on defense, and I am still looking to catch my first pass on offense. They haven't thrown one my way yet, but they will and I will be ready. I really don't play that much on offense, so I don't get much of a chance to catch any passes."

JH: Are quarterbacks testing you very much?

BJ: "No, not really. I probably have had only three to four passes throw my way. Most of the time the quarterbacks throw the ball in the ground or over my head when they throw the ball away."

JH: Have you taken any visits yet?

BJ: "I am going to Arizona Friday morning. I am looking forward to getting a good look at the school and the football program. I really don't know much about Arizona, so it will be interesting for me."

JH: What other visits have you set up?

BJ: "I don't know where I am going to go with my remaining four visits. I am still trying to decide that."

JH: What about Oklahoma?

BJ: "Oklahoma is definitely in my top three. They are going to get one of my visits. I like the defense at Oklahoma. Their defense has always been strong and that isn't going to change any time soon. If you can play defense at Oklahoma you can play defense anywhere."

JH: You say that Oklahoma is in your top three, so what other schools are in the top three?

BJ: "My top three are Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Arizona."

JH: Do you have a favorite?

BJ: ‘No, not really. I don't want to list a favorite. I don't want to push anybody ahead."
