RECRUITING: N.C. OT to visit Norman this weekend?

Fayetteville, N.C. offensive tackle Curtis Crouch update.

Curtis Crouch, OL, 6-6, 315, 5.2, FAYETTEVILLE (SMITH HS), NORTH CAROLINA:

JH: How is your season going?

CC: "It is going good. We are 5-1 on the year."

JH: How are you playing?

CC: "I am doing well. I had a good game last Friday. I don't know how many pancakes I had, but I know I had a bunch. The game before that we played the defending state champs and we lost, but I had a very good game. I wish I could have done more to help us wi, because we only lost by six points. I hope we will get a chance to play them again."

JH: Are you still playing offensive tackle?

CC: "I am playing right tackle right now, but a few college coaches have told me that I have the speed and quickness to play guard. I want to play right tackle in college because I feel very comfortable there. But that is a long way away and there is plenty of time to worry about that."

JH: Have you taken any visits yet?

CC: "I haven't taken any visit, but I may come to Oklahoma this weekend. I haven't heard from Coach Wilson yet to find out for sure if I am visiting or not. I am not sure if I am going to visit or not."

JH: Do you want to visit OU this weekend?

CC: "That is one of my big official visits that I want to spend the full amount of time on and I don't know if I will have enough time this weekend. We have another big game on Friday and I wouldn't be able to get in there until Saturday afternoon. And then I would have to leave Sunday to get back for school. I was wondering if they would bring me in at the end of my season or if they want to go ahead and bring me in now."

JH: Have you narrowed your choices down at this point?

CC: "My choices are down to Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and N.C. State, but I am not saying they are my only four choices at this point. I am still considering some other schools."

JH: Do you have a leader?

CC: "No, I don't have a leader at this time."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

CC: "I know they have a pretty good football program. I am just trying to find out what kind of education system they have there and what kind of environment they have in Norman. My visit there will be very important because I just need to get a feel of what being a student/athlete is like at OU."
