Gilmer, Texas wide receiver Manuel Johnson update.

Manuel Johnson, WR, 6-0, 170, 4.6, GILMER, TEXAS:

JH: What did you think of the OU/Texas game?

MJ: "It was a pretty good game and a great rivalry. The game was closer than people thought it was going to be, but I am just glad that OU came out on top."

JH: What did you think of the atmosphere of the game?

MJ: "A lot of people tried to tell me about the game and the game lived up to its hype. It was a great atmosphere and the fans really got into it. The game looked like it would be a lot of fun to play in."

JH: You have been committed to OU for some time, so as you watched the game did you think about playing in the game someday?

MJ: "It was a good feeling to know that someday I will be playing in that game. Of course, I was rooting hard for Oklahoma and I was pulling hard for OU to win that game."

JH: How is your season going?

MJ: "We are 7-0 and we are ranked sixth in class 3A. I am playing quarterback and I am doing pretty well. I am leading all East Texas in passing yards right now. I have thrown for 1,500 yards."
