No Price, no problem.

Playing without leading scorer Hollis Price, the 12th-ranked Sooners got double-digit scoring outputs from five players in their 97-55 win over Texas Southern Saturday night in the All-College Classic in Oklahoma City.

Leading the scoring onslaught for the Sooners was Price's replacement in the starting lineup, junior guard Jason Detrick.

Making his first career start as a Sooner, Detrick did not disappoint tying teammate Ebi Ere with a game-high 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the floor.

Ere did most of his damage from the perimeter, knocking down 4-of-9 three-point attempts en route to his 20-point night.

Daryan Selvy came off the bench to add 15 points while Jahbari Brown and Quannas White also added 10 points apiece.

Brown recorded his first double-double as a Sooner with a game-high 12 rebounds in addition to his 10 points.

Oklahoma forced 21 turnovers and out-rebounded Texas Southern 52-31.

With the win Oklahoma improves to 10-1 on the season. The Sooners will get a week off before they open Big 12 Conference play next Saturday against Texas A&M in Norman. Price, who was held out for precautionary measures after being poked in the eye in practice, is expected to be back.
