RECRUITING: Duncan moves OU up list after visit

Dallas, Ga. offensvie lineman Paul Duncan update.

Paul Duncan, OL, 6-6, 288, 5.38, DALLAS (EAST PAULDING HS), GEORGIA:

JH: How did your visit go to OU?

PD: "I liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to. I just like the town because it has a small town feel, but you get the same benefits from a big town."

JH: So OU impressed you on the visit?

PD: "Yes, sir. They sure did."

JH: What did you think of the game atmosphere at OU?

PD: "I liked it, but we didn't get there until right before the game started. So, we didn't get to see much of the tailgating and pre-game stuff. The stadium atmosphere was pretty exciting. It is a great place to watch a game and a great place to play a game in."

JH: Now that you have visited OU what do you think of the football program?

PD: "They have been winning and Coach Stoops said that history would repeat itself. I believe that, because I know they are going to continue to win."

JH: Did you get to see the facilities?

PD: "That was all nice. I got to go into the indoor facility and that is a nice structure. Academically, OU has everything that I am looking for in a college. They have a great academic program for athletes and they have plenty of support academically as well."

JH: Who showed you around?

PD: "Joe Jon Finley was my player host."

JH: Does the visit enhance the Sooners chances to sign you?

PD: "Yes, sir. I think that it does."

JH: Where does OU stand now in your recruiting race?

PD: "I think they definitely move up, but that is my first official visit so I can't compare it to all the others. I am still considering all of my top five, which is Oklahoma, UCLA, Duke, LSU and Notre Dame. I am going to UCLA (11-6), Duke (11-13), LSU (11-20) and then I am going to finish my visits with Notre Dame (12-4)."
