RECRUITING: Udofia lining up December visit?

Scottsdale, Ariz. defenisive tackle Ekom Udofia update.

Ekom Udofia, DT, 6-1, 290, 5.0, SCOTSDALE (CHAPARRAL HS), ARIZONA:

JH: How did your surgery go for your broken leg?

EU: "It went pretty well. I guess my parents talked to the doctors and they said that looking at the x-rays after surgery that they couldn't even tell that it had been broken. Right now the rehab is going pretty well, so I am pretty happy right now."

JH: What did they do exactly?

EU: "They put in a plate and some screws to stabilize the bone and hold it together. They did that basically and the operation was a success."

JH: Does it hurt?

EU: "I am doing pretty well, but it was real painful at first. At first, I was taking pain medication, but now I am not taking it anymore and I am doing fine."

JH: Because of the surgery what did you have to do with your recruiting?

EU: "I have pushed back Oklahoma and my Oklahoma State visit. My Miami is not until December and that should be OK. I may have to push my Oklahoma and Oklahoma State visit back to December. By then, I will be able to walk pretty well on crutches and I will be able to get around better."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma at this point?

EU: "I am still high on them and I am still excited about coming out to visit them, but I just have to wait and see when I am able to do that."

JH: Do you have a leader at this time?

EU: "Not really, but I have been to Stanford and USC so far and I can't really say one over the other. I need to visit all the schools so that I can make a good decision."
