Texas DE/LB says it's a "tossup"

Defensive star Michael Williams says he's still committed to OU, but may now be leaning elsewhere

MICHAEL WILLIAMS, DE, 6'4, 225, 4.6, LINDALE, TEXAS

JH: Are you playing basketball this season?

"No, I am just lifting weights."

JH: What is the latest in recruiting with you?

"For right now I am still committed to Oklahoma, but I still like Texas. So I guess you could say that I am still undecided about what I want to do. Now, I am leaning towards Texas, but I still like Oklahoma. It's a tossup and I really don't know right now."

JH: What is the difference in the two schools right now?

"Oklahoma puts a lot of pressure on me, but Texas is cool with me and telling me they will be happy with whatever I decide. Both have good programs and there isn't much difference in the two."

JH: Have you grown up a Texas fan?

"No, I just wanted to go to college, it didn't matter where I was going to play at."

JH: Which schools gives you the best opportunity to play early?

"Oklahoma probably, because Texas is recruiting a bunch of linebackers, but that doesn't really matter to me. As far as a better opportunity early it would have to be Oklahoma."

JH: I heard your mom was going to take a look at Texas herself this week. Is that true?

"My mom is going to Texas to look around. I don't know if I am going with her or not. My mom likes Texas as well."
