Madison, Fla. linebacker Eugene Hayes update.

Eugene Hayes, LB, 6-1, 218, 4.6, GREENVILLE (MADISION COUNTY HS), FLORIDA:

JH: How is your season going?

GH: "Our season is going well. We are 8-0 on the year and ranked No. 1 in class 2A."

JH: How is your season going?

GH: "It is going great. I have 83 tackles and nine sacks. I am playing both inside and outside linebacker, but I like outside better because I get to come off the edge. I will play outside linebacker in college."

JH: As far as a position goes in college, what are your recruiting coaches telling you?

GH: "All the coaches tell me that they want me to blitz, and that is what I want to hear. I want to put pressure on the quarterback and I want to be very active."

JH: How many visits have you taken at this point?

GH: "I took one visit to Georgia and I am going to Tennessee this weekend."

JH: How did your visit to Georgia go?

GH: "It was good, it was real good. Everything went along real smooth. I get along with the coaching staff and the players."

JH: As you get ready to visit Tennessee what are your thoughts on the VOLS?

GH: "I feel good about Tennessee. They are high on my list. I want to see their excitement on game day."

JH: What other schools are you considering?

GH: "I really like Oklahoma, Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee and USC. Those are the schools that I am looking at the hardest."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

GH: "It is their tradition that I like the most about Oklahoma. They are one of the teams that are at the top of my list. They have a shot to go to the National Championship every year. I would also love to be a Butkus Award winner and they no how to do that. I also like their defense because they blitz and their outside linebackers are very active."

JH: When will you visit Oklahoma?

GH: "We haven't set that up yet."
