RECRUITING: Sooners in Garvin's top three?

New Jersey cornerback Michael Ray Garvin talks about his visit to Colorado and interest in OU.

Michael Ray Garvin, CB, 5-8, 178, 4.4, RAMSEY (DON BOSCO PREP), NEW JERSEY:

JH: Are you watching the election returns?

MG: "No, I am finishing up some homework and doing some papers."

JH: How did you play this past weekend?

MG: "We did well. We won 41-6. I scored five touchdowns, three rushing, one kickoff return of 85 yards and one receiving of 50 yards."

JH: What did you think of your visit to Colorado?

MG: ‘It was pretty good. I got to see the game against Texas and I had a chance to meet the coaches and players."

JH: Not that you have visited Colorado, are you still considering the Buffaloes?

MG: "It is a pretty good program, but it is still building right now. They are still a little bit in the running, but we will see how the rest of recruiting goes."

JH: Who are you visiting next?

MG: "I don't know yet."

JH: What schools are you still considering for visits?

MG: "I am still looking at Notre Dame, Purdue and Oklahoma. I plan to take two more official visits and then one unofficial visit."

JH: What do you think of OU?

MG: "They are still ranked high on my list. They are in my top three. I am going to take one of my official visits to OU."

JH: Will you wait until you season is over before you take your next visit?

MG: "I will probably wait until after the season."
