RECRUITING: Visit boosts Sooners up Duncan's list

Dallas, Ga. offensive lineman Paul Duncan update.

Paul Duncan, OT, 6-6, 238, 5.38, DALLAS (EAST PAULDING HS), GEORGIA:

JH: How is your season going?

PD: "We are totally done. We finished 6-4 and we didn't make the playoffs. We finished one game away from the playoffs."

JH: How did you play this season?

PD: "I had a good season. I averaged about 80 percent each game. I finished with about 30 pancake blocks on the year."

JH: How did your visit to Oklahoma go?

PD: "It went pretty well. It was a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be. I liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to."

JH: What impressed you the most about OU?

PD: "I really liked the town. It was bigger than I thought it was going to be, but it still had a small town feel to it. It is a neat college town. I can see why people like to live there."

JH: What did you think about the football program itself?

PD: "I liked everything about their football program. They have so many National Championships and they are always playing for more. Plus, you know they are going to continue to win."

JH: What did you think about their offensive line situation?

PD: "It is looking real good for m, because they are short on offensive tackles, and offensive linemen in particular."

JH: Was Oklahoma your first visit?

PD: "Yes, it was."

JH: Now that you have visited, do you feel better about signing with OU?

PD: "I definitely do feel better about Oklahoma. They certainly moved up my list."

JH: How is recruiting shaping up with you at the moment?

PD: "I would say that Oklahoma is at the top. It's between Oklahoma, Notre Dame and LSU, and all three are so close right now. This weekend I am going to UCLA and then I am going to LSU. After that, I am going to Duke. And then December 4th I am going to Notre Dame."
