RECRUITING: Robinson ready to take it all in

Atlanta, Ga. OL Duke Robinson talks about his two leaders and his upcoming visit to Norman.

Duke Robinson, OL, 6-5, 325, 5.7, ATLANTA (BOOKER T. WASHINGTON HS) GA:

JH: How is your season going?

DR: "We are 10-1 champs of our region. We won the first game of the playoffs last weekend."

JH: How are you doing individually?

DR: "I think it has been going pretty well. I don't have any injuries and I think I have gotten stronger and quicker as the season has gone along. I have graded out at 96 percent this year, and as a group our offensive line graded out at 92 percent. I am averaging at least six pancake blocks a game. I haven't played to much defense this year. I am starting to play it more now that we are in the playoffs. I especially go in when the other team gets inside our 30-yard line."

JH: How is recruiting going?

DR: "Recruiting is going pretty well. I am not to the point where I am tired of it. I go on my first visit this weekend to Oklahoma."

JH: What are your thoughts on that visit to Oklahoma?

DR: "I am looking forward to my visit to Oklahoma. I am anxious to see the game atmosphere and the environment on gameday at Oklahoma."

JH: Is their anything specifically that you want to see out of Oklahoma?

DR: "I am really looking forward to seeing a great program like Oklahoma. I am looking forward to watching a game at OU and to see how the crowd responds to their football team."

JH: As far as the game goes, what will you be watching the most?

DR: "I will focus on their offensive linemen. I want to watch their blocking schemes and how they get off the ball."

JH: What other schools are you interested in?

DR: "I am going to Florida and UCLA. I am not sure of the dates yet. I am going to Florida in January and I am not sure about UCLA."

JH: Do you have a leader at this point?

DR: I guess you could say that. I am leaning towards Oklahoma or Georgia. They are my top two schools."
