RECRUITING: Miller helps recruit during visit

Killeen, Texas defensive tackle Roy Miller update.

Roy Miller, DT, 6-2, 295, 4.97, KILLEEN (SHOEMAKER HS), TEXAS:

JH: How did your visit to OU go?

RM: "It was a very good. It was good to be back and hang out with the guys. It was great to get around the fans and spend some time with the players and coaching staff. I got a chance to get some academic stuff. The visit went well for me. I got to do everything that I wanted to do. It was fun hanging out with the players."

JH: What did you learn about OU that you didn't now before?

RM: "I never got to see the academic side before this visit. Academics are very important and what OU has set up is very impressive. Getting a chance to hang out with the players is something that I enjoyed. OU has a great bunch of guys that I am going to look forward to playing with."

JH: Did you get a chance to meet some of the other recruits?

RM: "I hung out with Brian Simmons and Travis Bechum quite a bit. Along with Auston English, we were trying to recruit those guys. We were talking to Spicer and a couple of those big offensive tackles. All of them seemed to like their visit to OU and all of them seem to like the same thing that I did."

JH: What did you think about the game?

RM: "It was a good game. It was great to see those senior's play one more game at home. Every time you watch them play they seem to make big plays. The offense really impressed me. Jason White broke his own record and then watching Kejuan Jones run was nice. He had a pretty good game to."
