Averell Spicer, DE, 6-2, 265, 4.65, RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIF:

JH: How did your visit to Oklahoma go this weekend?

AS: "It went alright. I was nice and I liked it."

JH: So, there were not surprises about Norman at all or anything?

AS: "I like them a lot. It really wasn't much different that I thought it was going to be.
JH: What did you think of the OU campus?

AS: "It was nice and laid out nice. Everything was close. You don't have to go very far to get to anywhere."

JH: Did you get a chance to get out and see Norman at all?

AS: "I got to see Norman a little bit. It is different from where I live at, but still very nice."

JH: What did you think of the facilities?

AS: They had nice facilities, but when your team is that good that is expected. I expected their facilities to be like that."

JH: What did you think of the players and coaches?

AS: "I had talked to the coaches on the phone so I kind of knew what they were like. I met a number of players and they were good guys. Alonzo Dotson showed me around."

JH: Now that you have visited OU do the Sooners have a better chance to sign you?

AS: "Yes, definitely more o than I was before. Oklahoma has a better chance now to sign than before I went."

JH: When is your next visit scheduled?

AS: "I am going to Florida State this weekend."

JH: Do you have a leader at this point?

AS: "It is still pretty open right now between my top five schools, but as I gather information and take visits then my opinion will begin to change. My visit to OU this weekend improved my opinion about Oklahoma, so I am taking Oklahoma more seriously."
