RECRUITING: Two schools lead for Texas DT

Terrel Nemons, DT, 6-2, 323, 5.35, CEDAR HILL, TEXAS:

JH: How did your season go this year?


TN: "We finished our season at 5-5 and we didn't make it to the playoffs this year."

JH: What kind of year did have?

TN: "I know I had around 60 tackles and eight sacks. I had a couple of pass break-ups as well."

JH: What are you doing now that your football season is over?

TN: "We are about to start powerlifting and I am looking forward to that. Then I am going to do the shot-put after that."

JH: Have you taken any visits yet?

TN: "No, I haven't taken any ye, but I start taking them next month. I am going to Kansas (12-17) and Colorado (12-3). I had one on December 10th to Nebraska, but I am not going to be able to make that one."

JH: Are there any other schools you hope to visit?

TN: "I know I am going to take one to OU, but I don't know about the fifth one. I will OU visit will be sometime in January."

JH: Do you have a favorite at this point?

TN: "I really don't have a favorite. I guess my top two choices are Kansas and OU."

JH: What is it about Oklahoma that you like?

TN: "I just liked the coaches and everything when I went down there. I like the coaches a lot."

JH: What is it about Kansas that draws your attention?

TN: "One of their quarterbacks (Marcus Herford) went to my high school and he has been telling me some great things about Kansas. I have never been to Kansas, but I am looking forward to making that trip."
