Eric Huggins, WR, 6-3, 190, 4.5, CONWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA:
JH: I know that you are disappointed that you guys lost in the playoffs weren't you?
EH: "We really wanted to win, but we couldn't pass the ball very well and we struggled to run it in this game. The other team just wanted it more. They drove down and got the ball in field goal range and kicked one to beat us."
JH: When will you take your official visit to OU?
EH: "I plan to go to OU officially in a couple of weeks."
JH: Steve Spurrier is now the Head Football Coach at South Carolina, does that do anything for you?
EH: "Everybody is coming up to me and calling me and acting like I am just going to change my mind and go to South Carolina. I have never been interested in South Carolina and the fact that Coach Spurrier is there doesn't change that. I am sure he is a good coach, but I want to go to OU and play for Coach (Bob) Stoops and Coach (Darrell) Wyatt. I have never said that I was interested in South Carolina and I never had them on my list. Oklahoma is where I want to go and that is where I am going to play my college football."
JH: Have a bunch of people been calling you asking you this same question?
EH: "A coach from South Carolina has called a couple of times, but I have never talked to them. A couple of people have come up to my high school coach and told him that I should go to South Carolina, but he is not going to let anybody get to him. He wants to do what is best for me and he knows that I want to play for Oklahoma."
JH: What is the next sport for you?
EH: "I am going to go out for track in the spring. I will run the 100M, 200M and be on the 4 by 100."
