Vince Oghobaase, DT, 6-6, 300, 5.2, ALIEF (HASTINGS HS), TEXAS:
JH: How did you visit to Arizona go?
VO: "I just got back. The visit was good. I had a good time. It was a beautiful town and the game had a nice atmosphere. Arizona played Arizona State and it was a real good game. It was a real good game to watch. I like the D-Line coach up there, the players were cool. It was a good visit."
JH: You have also visited Oklahoma State at this point. Now that you have visited both OSU and Arizona, where do the Cowboys sit in your recruiting?
VO: "My visit to OSU was a blast and I had a lot of fun. They played SMU the day that I was down there and they totally blew them out. The Cowboys are sitting pretty good with me right now. They are real nice with me."
JH: Where would you say that Arizona sits in your recruiting right now?
VO: "They are sitting good with me too."
JH: Are you pretty wide open in recruiting right now?
VO: "Until I am done taking the rest of my three remaining visits, I don't know where I am going to sign. I know that I have to make my decision by the end of December so that I can get ready to enroll in January. I don't know where I am going to go yet, but by the end of December I will know where I am going."
JH: Who are your other three visits with?
VO: "They are with Duke, Miami and Oklahoma."
JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?
VO: "I went down there at the end of the summer and I like the school a lot. The program is established and Coach Jackie Shipp has already coached players that are playing in the NFL. He does a great job with his players. Bob Stoops is a real good man and they have an OK Engineering program, but not one of the top ones. I am going to go down there and see how the atmosphere is with the people within the program. Right now Oklahoma is doing pretty well with me."
JH: What are your thoughts on Duke and Miami at this time?
VO: "With Duke you have to think about the degree. When you graduate from Duke you are set for life. They are not doing well in football right now, but I can go there and make a difference. The D-Line coach at Duke is a real good guy. At Miami, they are sending D-Lineman to the NFL year in and year out. They are going to coach you hard."
JH: Which school has the best engineering program that you are interesting in?
VO: "Duke. I am looking at Texas A&M to, but I am not going to take an official visit there. I have been there quite a few times unofficially. They probably have the second best engineering schools that I am looking at."
JH: Does depth chart make any difference or early playing time?
VO: "Oh, yeah. I wouldn't be graduating early if I wasn't going to play early. The reason I am graduating early is to play early and to start my academic process. I want to get a head start in front of all the incoming freshmen."
