RECRUITING: DT taking wait and see approach

Louisville, Ky. defensive tackle James McKinney update.

James McKinney, DT, 6-3, 263, 4.9, LOUISVILLE (CENTRAL HS), KENTUCKY:

JH: With football over what are you doing athletically right now?

JM: "I am lifting weights right now getting ready for the high school all-star game."

JH: You have taken one visit already right?

JM: "I recently went to the Nebraska/Colorado game and it was a good game. That was my first official visit. I thought it was a good overall visit. I had a good weekend."

JH: Have you set up any other visits?

JM: "I have set up three other visits. I am going Clemson (12-3), Michigan (1-10) and then Oklahoma (1-17)."

JH: How is recruiting stacking up with you at this time?

JM: "I will know a lot more after I take my visits. Right now Michigan, U of L, Nebraska, Clemson, Oklahoma and Ohio State are still on my list."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?

JM: "Until I see the campus, I really can't put anything on it. After I take my visit I will be able to give you an idea what I really think of Oklahoma."

JH: Do you have a leader at this time?

JM: "I don't have a clear cut leader, but after my visit Nebraska moved up considerably. I really don't want to say that I have a leader because at this point I want to keep things open."
