OUInsider.com has learned that Lanear Nixon (6'3, 210, 4.5) of Miami Carol City, Florida has committed to the Sooners.
He is a very solid, big, skilled athlete, who could play H-back, tight end or wide receiver for the Sooners.
Nixon is one great athlete," said TheInsiders.com recruiting expert Max Emfinger who rates Nixon as a five-star recruit. "He can run, he's around 6-5, and he is a great athlete who plays in one of the top programs in Florida."
Nixon is the son of former Sooner Freddie Nixon.
