RECRUITING: Is Miller cooling on Oklahoma?

Killeen, Texas DT Roy Miller talks about the rumors that he's de-committing from Oklahoma.

Roy Miller, DT, 6-3, 300, 4.97, KILLEEN (SHOEMAKER HS), TEXAS:

JH: Congratulations on being selected to the Scout Network Army All-American All-Star game in San Antonio.

RM: "I am blessed to be selected to play in that game. It has always been a dream of mine to play in that game. To play in that game is an honor. I am proud of my season and felt I had a lot better year this year than I did last year. I know that I had a good year and I am glad that it paid off."

JH: What is your exact status with Oklahoma at this time?

RM: "I still believe that we have some things that we need to work out. I am just really looking hard at everything. I just think it is in the best interest for me to look at all my options."

JH: Have you de-committed from OU? Do you still have an interest in OU?

RM: "I am still considering OU hard at this time. Everybody knows that Oklahoma is one of the best programs in the country, if not the best program in the country, and it would be an honor to play there. I am still considering OU hard and there is still a good chance that I sign with OU. Some things have come up that I need to resolve, so I am also looking at Texas. My decision will come down to OU and Texas."

JH: So you are saying that there is still a good chance that OU will sign you?

RM: "Most definitely. There are just some things that have come up that I have to work out. I still like the University of Oklahoma a lot."

JH: What is it that OU has to do to get totally back in your good graces?

RM: "Well, there has to be more conversation between my family and OU. We have to make sure that we all get on the same page. My parents are very important to me and I need to have their support wherever I am going to go. OU and my family just need to talk and lay everything on the table and talk things out."
