RECRUITING: Colorado OL still favors two

Ft. Collins, Colo. offensive lineman Jon Cooper update.

Jon Cooper, OL, 6-3, 273, 4.95 FT. COLLINS, COLORADO:

JH: How did your visit go to Oklahoma State?

JC: "It was pretty good. I had a lot of fun. I felt very comfortable there."

JH: What did you like about it?

JC: "I really liked hanging around with the all the guys and players. I had a real good time."

JH: Do you have any visits left to take?

JC: "I am going to Missouri this weekend and then to Wisconsin the next weekend. At least that is the plan right now."

JH: Are any of your schools beginning to separate from the pack?

JC: "My top two are Iowa State and Oklahoma. I am leaning towards them, but I am still not sure where I am going."

JH: Has Oklahoma been by to see you this week?

JC: "Yes, Coach Wilson was in my home on Sunday. That visit went really well. It went good."

JH: You have always liked Oklahoma, so what kind of real chance do the Sooners have to sign you?

JC: "They are definitely real high on my list. Like I said, Oklahoma and Iowa State are the top two schools on my list. Without question they have a lot going for them."

JH: What do you think about Oklahoma winning the Big 12 Championship and earning a berth in the Orange Bowl?

JC: "It definitely shows that they are a consistently good thing. That is not my top priority when it comes to recruiting, but if you can get that and still have that team be the best team that you like, then that is a great situation."
